Gold BALL Group INFORMATION (SCROll down for offerings)

Gold Ball is BTA's High-Performance Program directed and coached by Andrew Pecht and Nitin Deodhar along with Coaches Jorge Rodriguez, Jonathan Lee, and Blaine Davies. Gold Ball is intended for passionate and dedicated tennis players who are committed to working on their game on and off the court.  Players in this group have ambitions to play at a high collegiate level and beyond.  

Basic Overview of each Gold Ball Grouping Focus

Futures (ages 8-11, UTR under 2.5 but can play sets): Continued work on developing a strong foundation (footwork, technique, point play understanding, mental toughness, off-court habits)

Group C (the bottom 3rd of all enrolled players w a min UTR 2.0)

Group B (middle 3rd of all players enrolled with a min 4.0 UTR)

Group A (top 3rd of all players enrolled with a min UTR 7.0)

COACHES BIOS:

Andrew Pecht, former Blue-Chip Recruit & NCAA D1 Scholarship player.  Andrew develops some of the sections and country's best juniors.  His ability to get players to motivated, working hard, believing, and improving is unlike any other pro.  Primary focus is Gold Ball group B, C, and Futures.

Nitin Deodhar, former NCAA D1 scholarship player and coach, has developed over 70 NCAA collegiate players over the past 15 years. His ability to build players' confidence, mental toughness, technical skills, footwork, and shot selection has led to his strong junior following as well as the success of the academy. Primary focus is Gold Ball group A, B, and Futures.

Jorge Rodriguez, former NCAA D1 scholarship player, NCAA coach.  Excellent technical and tactical coaching skills. Private coach to some of the sections and nations top players.  Focuses on Gold Ball Groups A, B, and C.

Jonathan Lee, highly ranked USTA sectional player, Wootton HS County Champion. Excellent motivator and patience in building young players footwork and technique. Primary focus is the Gold Ball Futures and Group C programs.

Blaine Davies, former Head Coach NCAA D3, Head Pro at Frederick.  Strong junior teaching background and following in the area.  Primary focus is the Gold Ball Group C and Futures programs.
